  • Can I ship items to my vacation home ahead of my arrival?

    If you need to ship anything ahead of time, please let us know and we will give you an alternate address to make sure your package or delivery is safely received.
  • What is provided at the home?

    Complimentary WiFi is available in each and every one of our homes. Each of our kitchens provide full sets of dishes, silverware, glassware, and stemware (2x the maximum number of guests). Pots, pans, chef knives, cutting boards, all proper cooking utensils, can openers, blender, and wine openers. In addition, coffee makers (sometimes Keurig or Nespresso depending on the house) and coffee filters are provided standard in each residence. Basic spices are provided including sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, and vinegar. Paper products include a set of 2 rolls of paper towels and four small cloth dish towels, with one single sponge, dishwasher detergent, zip-lock baggies, tinfoil, and food storage containers. Each home provides for a washer and dryer including detergent, iron, and ironing board. Laundry and dry-cleaning service can also be provided upon request. Each bathroom provides for 3 rolls of toilet paper, hotel size amenities of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, two sets of bath and face towels per-person and 1 beach towel per guest. Each bathroom comes with a hand-held hair dryer. For the bedroom, all beds are made with high-quality luxury linens, comforters, and plenty of pillows for each guest. Closet and drawer space are provided as well as felt covered hangers. Many of our guests have inquired as to where we purchase our linens for the beds. If you would like to purchase a set to have sent to your own home, please let us know. Our linens are produced by COMPHY and are in some of the finest hotels around the world.
  • Are beach chairs, beach toys, pool toys and floaties provided?

    All Villas with pools have provided both pool toys and floaties for children. Some homes provide beach items for their guests, but not all. Ask about your particular home at time of booking for the specific items available. Otherwise, we are happy to help arrange for any beach equipment desired and have it delivered to the house pre-arrival.
  • Is daily housekeeping included?

    Daily housekeeping services are available upon request at an additional charge. There is one complimentary cleaning included if your stay is more than 7 nights. Our housekeepers are also available to hire for light cooking, shopping, and other assistance.
  • Are concierge services available?

    Monarch Luxury Villas is happy to help our guests with each and every request to enhance their stay including transportation services, restaurant reservations, bike rentals, tours, surfing lessons, ocean kayaking, hot-air ballooning, a family photographer, salon services, yoga sessions, massage therapists and much more.   • What if I am travelling with small children?

    We will gladly assist with any necessities needed for your family including rental of baby equipment and babysitting services. We can also provide suggestions and make reservations for child friendly restaurants, venues, and attractions.
  • Can I pre-stock my villa with groceries including wine and liquor?

    Monarch Luxury Villas is always delighted to assist our guests with any pre-stocking needs prior to arrival. We can also arrange for a personal shopper to make sure you get exactly everything on your list to enhance your vacation experience. If you prefer to arrange for your own pre-stocking, including ordering on-line directly, we would be happy to have one of our staff members meet the delivery and put all the groceries and sundries away.
  • Can I arrange for personal chef services?

    Monarch Luxury Villas has worked with several local personal chefs who are outstanding in their service. No request is too small, whether a romantic meal for two, or food preparation for storage to utilize during the week, our chefs can create any culinary experience you seek. Many of our guests arrange for a private chef for their first night of arrival as these illuminates stress off the day on where to eat after a long day of traveling and often the costs can be comparable to a nice restaurant in the area. In addition, we can also arrange for wine and beer tasting or any combination of a customized event at the home.
  • Can we help with attraction tickets or suggest activities?

    Let us arrange VIP behind-the-scenes tours for you of the Safari Park and SeaWorld, or the zoo. We can schedule luxury yacht tours of the San Diego bay, personalized tours of the city, and much more.   • How do I check in and how early can I access the home?

    Our check-in times are 4:00 am. One of our team members will meet you at the home and give you access instructions, a brief tour of how the home works and answer any questions you may have. Early check in cannot be guaranteed until 24 hours prior to arrival. If available, complimentary early check in is at 2:00 can be arranged. Anything earlier, if the home is available, would be a charge of $75 per hour before 2:00 pm.
  • How does checkout work and can I request a later exit?

    The check-out time is 10:00 pm. In some instances, we may be able to accommodate a later exit time. Late check-outs cannot be granted until the day before your departure. Please check the Rules within the house manual located at the property regarding check-out procedures, as they vary from home to home. Typically, we request that beds be left unmade and dirty towels are put in the laundry area (not on the floor in bathrooms and bedrooms or left on carpeted areas). Please remove all trash to the outdoor trash bins and make sure the dishes are clean and put away or on “clean” cycle in the dishwasher. If extra cleaning is required based on not following checkout instructions provided for in the manual, or if there are any missing keys or remotes, additional charges may apply
  • Are pets allowed?

    Generally, our homes do not allow pets because so many guests have allergies that are affected long after a pet has been left the home. Check your specific property for information as to whether you may bring your pet and what the additional fee or policy is per Villa.
  • Can I invite guests over to my rental villa?

    For each reservation, we cannot allow more individuals on the property than the maximum number of guests identified on the listing and on the booking. This is out of respect for both the owner of the property and the neighbors adjoining the homes who have a rightful expectation of quiet enjoyment. You may request an exception for day visitors or family dinners. However, depending on the number of guests, an event fee may apply.
  • Is the pool heated?

    Many of our homes require an additional pool heating fee (especially in winter). Ask your representative at time of booking to see if the pool heating is included. Heating of the Hot Tub, however, is always complimentary.
